NBA: Los Angeles Clippers 112, Chicago 95

CHICAGO, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Blake Griffin scored 26 points Friday and J.J. Redick led a 3-point assault that launched the Los Angeles Clippers to a 112-95 win over Chicago.

Los Angeles made 10 of the first 11 shots it attempted from beyond the arc and wound up hitting 13-of-21 from long range.

Redick made four of the 3-pointers while scoring 18 points.

Griffin hit 11-of-18 from the field and added 13 rebounds and seven assists. Jamal Crawford pitched in 19 points off the bench for the Clippers, who have gone 7-3 since losing Chris Paul to a shoulder injury.

The Clippers scored 41 points in the opening period while taking a 15-point lead. Seven of the 3-pointers came in the first quarter, during which Los Angeles made 73 percent of its shots.

Carlos Boozer scored 22 points for Chicago, which had won three in a row.
