NBA: Minnesota 112, Utah 97

SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Kevin Love and Corey Brewer both scored 19 points Tuesday in the Minnesota Timberwolves' 112-97 win over the Utah Jazz.

Love also had 13 rebounds and flirted with a triple-double by recording eight assists.

Kevin Martin and Nikola Pekovic added 18 points apiece to the Minnesota totals. Ricky Rubio notched a double-double of 11 points and 13 assists.

Gordon Heyward returned to the Utah lineup after missing five games with a hip injury and led all scorers with 27 points. Alec Burks scored 18 points off the bench.

Minnesota jumped to a 34-16 lead after one quarter and went 22-for-24 from the free-throw line over the entire game.

The win gave Minnesota the sweep of the home-and-home series with Utah. The Jazz lost for the third time in their last four games.
