Fred Couples, Bernhard Langer tied after two rounds in Hawaii

KA'UPULEHU, Hawaii, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Fred Couples fired a 7-under 65 Saturday to catch Bernhard Langer, already in the clubhouse with a 64, to share the Mitsubishi Electric Championship lead.

Langer was the first to reach 14-under for the two rounds, but Couples joined him there, rolling home a 12-footer for a birdie at No. 17 to secure a share of the top spot with the German in the season-opening event.
