TORONTO, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- James van Riemsdyk put Toronto ahead with 5:33 left in the third period Saturday and the Maple Leafs went on to post a 5-3 victory over Montreal.
With the score tied 3-3, van Riemsdyk broke down the middle and converted a pass from Tyler Bozak in the crease for the decisive goal.

Phil Kessel, Mason Raymond and Joffrey Lupul each had a goal and an assist, and Cody Franson also scored as the Maple Leafs won a fourth straight.
Jonathan Bernier notched the victory with 30 saves.
David Desharnias, Brendan Gallagher and Brian Gionta each scored for the Canadiens.
Carey Price recorded 25 saves.
