PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Jakub Voracek and Michael Raffl each scored in the third period Saturday, rallying the Philadelphia Flyers over the New York Islanders 6-4.
Claude Giroux assisted on both goals as the Flyers overcame a third-period deficit for the ninth time this season, tying a club record.
Andrej Meszaros notched a pair of first-period goals. Matt Read and Adam Hall also scored for Philadelphia.
Steve Mason, who signed a multiyear contract extension earlier Saturday, was lifted in the second period after yielding four goals on 24 shots.
Ray Emery relieved and earned the win, stopping 5-of-5 shots the rest of the way.
Cal Clutterbuck, John Tavares, Brock Nelson and Brian Strait scored for the Islanders.
Kevin Poulin made 26 saves.
