NBA: Miami 104, Charlotte 96

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 18 (UPI) -- LeBron James struck for 34 points, eight rebounds and six assists Saturday, lifting Miami over Charlotte 104-96 despite the absence of two starters.

Chris Bosh put in 25 points for the Heat, who were playing without Dwyane Wade (rest) and Chris Andersen (right knee contusion).

Ray Allen chipped in 12 points and nine rebounds as Miami notched a second straight following a three-game skid.

The Bobcats got 22 points and 14 rebounds from Al Jefferson.

Ramon Sessions notched 16 points and five assists for Charlotte, which lost for the fifth time in seven contests.

Bobcats guard Kemba Walker left in the third quarter with a sprained left ankle.
