CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Al Jefferson provided 35 points and eight rebounds Tuesday, powering the Charlotte Bobcats over New York 108-98.

Kemba Walker struck for 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists as the Bobcats snapped a three-game skid.

Gerald Henderson contributed 17 points.

The Knicks had their five-game winning streak ended despite 20 points from Carmelo Anthony.

Amar'e Stoudemire put in 17 for New York.
