WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- James Harden pumped in 25 points Saturday and Houston held off a Washington comeback try for a 114-107 win in a game repeatedly delayed by a leaking roof.
Harden also provided eight rebounds and five assists for the Rockets, who blew a 25-point lead but eventually emerged with a third win in four games.
Dwight Howard supplied 23 points with seven rebounds and Terrence Jones contributed 19 and 17 for Houston.
The game included a pair of lengthy delays as water dripped from the ceiling of the Verizon Center onto the floor near the scorer's table following a day of heavy rain in Washington.
The contest took more than 3 hours to complete.
Jeremy Lin helped out with 18 points and eight assists.
Trevor Ariza (23 points, 14 rebounds) and John Wall (23, 10 assists) each logged a double-double for the Wizards, who lost a fourth straight at home.
