NHL: Anaheim 5, Boston 2

ANAHEIM, Calif., Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Mathieu Perreault scored a pair of goals Tuesday with assists from Teemu Selanne to lead the Anaheim Ducks past the visiting Boston Bruins 5-2.

Perreault scored the first goal of the game and then closed out the scoring in the third period with a late goal at 17:29 to nail down Anaheim's fourth straight victory.

Andrew Cogliano also scored for the Ducks and Corey Perry and Nick Bonino both registered a goal and an assist. Jonas Hiller turned in 30 saves.

Tuuka Rask allowed five goals on 30 shots in the loss. Daniel Paille and Dougie Hamilton tallied the two Boston goals.

The Bruins, who had won five of seven coming into the game, cut Anaheim's lead to 3-2 in the third period, but the Ducks responded with two late goals to put the game away.
