DALLAS, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony sparked New York with 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists Sunday and the Knicks shook off their recent woes to spank Dallas 92-80.
Anthony collected six of his points during a decisive 12-0 Knicks run in the first quarter.

Kenyon Martin came off the bench for 14 points and six rebounds as New York won for just the second time in six games.
The Mavericks got 18 points and nine rebounds from Dirk Nowitzki in dropping a second straight.
