NHL: Philadelphia 4, Calgary 1

CALGARY, Alberta, Jan. 1 (UPI) -- Brayden Schenn and Braydon Coburn both scored goals Tuesday in the Philadelphia Flyers' 4-1 road win over the Calgary Flames.

Scott Hartnell and Mark Streit scored as well and Schenn added two assists to the Philadelphia scoring column.

Ray Emery had 23 saves for the Flyers who have won four in a row and are 3-0 on their six-game road swing.

Reto Berra allowed three goals on 20 shots for Calgary and Sean Monahan accounted for the only goal. The Flames have lost seven of their last eight games.

Monahan tied the game 1-1 with a goal at 14:30 of the second period, but Schenn put Philadelphia back in the lead with a wrist shot at 18:31.

The Flyers added two goals in the third period despite only four shots on goal. Coburn capped the scoring at 18:04 with a short-handed goal into an empty net.
