NBA: Portland 98, Oklahoma City 94

OKLAHOMA CITY, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- LaMarcus Aldridge and Damian Lillard both notched double-doubles for Portland Tuesday in their 98-94 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Aldridge scored 25 points and had 14 rebounds, and Lillard chipped in 21 points and 11 boards in the victory, which pulled the Trail Blazers to within a 1/2 game of the Thunder in the Western Conference.

Wesley Matthews, Nicolas Batum and Robin Lopez were also in double figures for Portland.

Kevin Durant scored 37 to lead the Thunder, who had their three-game winning streak closed out. Durant, however, scored only one point in the fourth quarter where the Thunder were outscored by the visitors 27-16.

Serge Ibaka scored 17 for Oklahoma City and Reggie Jackson scored 12. The Thunder shot 43.9 percent from the field to 39.6 percent for Portland; however the Blazers took 91 shots to Oklahoma City's 82.
