NEW YORK, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Tampa Bay safety Dashon Goldson has been fined $60,000 for a hit against St. Louis receiver Stedman Bailey Sunday, the NFL's website reported.

The helmet-to-helmet hit came in the fourth quarter of the Rams' 23-13 victory over the Buccaneers.

It is the third time this year Goldson has been fined. Those fines have totaled $190,000 and he has also lost more than $260,000 in pay for a one-game suspension associated with one of the fines.

Goldson has been disciplined this year for a helmet-to-helmet hit in a game against the New York Jets in the season opener and for another such hit the following week against New Orleans.
