NHL: Pittsburgh 4, Calgary 3

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Sidney Crosby notched a goal and two assists, giving him an NHL-best 53 points, and Pittsburgh stayed hot with a 4-3 win over Calgary Saturday.

Crosby scored his 20th goal of the season in the second period and helped out on scores by Pascal Dupuis and James Neal as the Penguins built a 4-1 lead and then hung on for a seventh straight win.

Harry Zolnierczyk added his first goal as a Penguin and Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 27-of-30 shots as Eastern Conference-leading Pittsburgh reeled off a 12th victory in 13 games overall.

Paul Byron, Mike Cammalleri and Jiri Hudler each scored for the Flames, who dropped a fourth straight on the road.

Karri Ramo made 19 saves.
