NHL: Anaheim 3, New Jersey 2 (OT)

NEWARK, N.J., Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Kyle Palmieri scored on a wraparound shot with 2:23 left in overtime Friday to give Anaheim a 3-2 victory over New Jersey.

The Pacific Division-leading Ducks won their seventh in a row.

New Jersey forced the overtime when Andy Greene delivered a power-play goal with 5:02 to go in regulation. Although the Devils picked up a point, they had a two-game winning streak snapped.

Cam Fowler and Matthieu Perreault scored for the Ducks, who reached the 25-win plateau.

Jonas Hiller had to turn aside just 19 shots to pick up the victory. Cory Schneider made 21 saves before allowing the winning goal on the only shot taken by either side in the overtime.
