NBA: Indiana 114, Houston 81

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Paul George scored 24 points and was one of six Indiana players in double figures Friday, carrying Indiana to a 114-81 romp over Houston.

Houston is in the midst of playing five out of six games on the road and the Rockets put up little resistance against the team with the best record in the Eastern Conference.

Indiana took an 11-point halftime lead and then outscored the Rockets by 11 in each of the last two quarters.

The Pacers joined San Antonio and Oklahoma City with 21 victories and improved their home record to 12-1.

Lance Stephenson added 16 points for Indiana, Luis Scola had 13 and both David West and George Hill had 12. Danny Granger, who had not played this year due to a strained left calf, made his season debut and scored five points.

Houston was led by Dwight Howard with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Houston has dropped three out of five. time all season.
