Shortlist for FIFA World XI forwards announced

Dec. 10 (UPI) -- The forwards for FIFA's World XI have been named with two of the three players on the Ballon d'Or shortlist featuring. Lionel Messi and favorite Cristiano Ronaldo join other top soccer players around the world on the list of 2013's best forwards.

The list also includes, Sergio Aguero, Mario Balotelli, Edison Cavani, Diego Costa, Didier Drogba, Radamel Falcao, Zlatan Ibrahimovich, Robert Lewandowski, Mario Mandzukic, Neymar, Robin Van Persie, Wayne Rooney, and Luis Suarez.
