SACRAMENTO, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Veteran forward Rudy Gay is going from the Toronto Raptors to the Sacramento Kings as part of a seven-player trade announced Monday.

Under the deal, Gay, forward Quincy Acy and center Aaron Gray were dealt to the Kings in exchange for guard Greivis Vasquez and forwards John Salmons, Patrick Patterson and Chuck Hayes.

Gay was dealt by the Raptors less than a year after they had acquired him from the Memphis Grizzlies. He has averaged 18.0 points in seven-plus NBA seasons, including 19.4 points per game in 18 contests this season.

The Kings last month also acquired former No. 2 overall draft pick Derrick Williams from the Minnesota Timberwolves for Luc Mbah a Moute.
