NHL: Montreal 3, Buffalo 2

MONTREAL, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Tomas Plekanec and Brandon Prust each notched a goal and an assist Saturday, launching the Montreal Canadiens to a fifth straight win, 3-2 over Buffalo.

Alex Galchenyuk also scored for the Atlantic Division-leading Habs.

Travis Moen added two assists and Carey Price made 23 saves.

Tyler Ennis provided a goal and an assist for the slumping Sabres, who dropped an eighth in nine games.

Zemgus Girgensons also scored and Jhonas Enroth made only 16 saves for Buffalo.
