Each side produced a goal in both the first and second period and that was all the scoring until the shootout, where the Ducks went 2-for-2.

Jonas Hiller's stop of Patrick Kane in the third round of the shootout clinched the victory.

Anaheim's goals in regulation came from Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf. Chicago came up with scores from Ben Smith and Kris Versteeg.

Hiller stopped 23 shots to get the win, one that ended a two-game skid. Antti Raanta made 24 saves for the Blackhawks.
