O-lineman Butler leaves Steelers

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 2 (UPI) -- The Pittsburgh Steelers said Monday recently added reserve offensive lineman Rashad Butler has left the team for unspecified personal reasons.

Butler, who was signed as a free agent Saturday, was added to the roster after linemen Kelvin Beachum and Mike Adams were hurt in Thursday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.

Butler has played in 50 NFL games, most recently with the Cleveland Browns before being cut in November. He has also spent time with the Houston Texans.

The Post-Gazette said the Steelers are likely to add another depth lineman to the mix before Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.
