NHL: New Jersey 5, Carolina 2

RALEIGH, N.C., Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Adam Henrique put New Jersey in front during a four-goal third period Friday, rallying the Devils to a 5-2 triumph over Carolina.

Andrei Loktionov forged a 2-2 tie 8:43 into the third, after which Henrique and Dainius Zubrus scored in the span of 1:50 to put the Devils in charge.

Jaromir Jagr finished the New Jersey scoring with the 692nd goal of his career. He is tied for eighth place on the all-time list with Steve Yzerman.

New Jersey had lost three in a row, one of those setbacks coming against Carolina on Wednesday.

Cory Schneider made 16 saves in the win. Cam Ward surrendered all the New Jersey goals on 31 shots.
