MELBOURNE, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Jason Day registered a 1-under-par 70 Sunday, holding off the field to claim the World Cup of Golf in Australia for his first win since 2010.
Day finished at 10-under-par 274, good for a two-shot victory margin.

Countryman Adam Scott fired a 5-under 66 to finish third, giving Australia a 10-stroke victory over the U.S. team of Matt Kuchar and Kevin Streelman at Royal Melbourne Golf Club.
Thomas Bjorn took sole possession of second place at minus-8 with a final-round 71.
Matt Kuchar (71) ended alone in fourth at 6-under.
Knotted in fifth one shot further back were Ryo Ishikawa (69) and Kiradech Aphibarnrat (70).
