NBA: Detroit 92, New York 86

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Rodney Stuckey heated up in the second half Tuesday, scoring 15 late points to help boost the Detroit Pistons over slumping New York 92-86.

Stuckey finished with 21 points overall and Josh Smith added 19 as Detroit improved to just 2-5 in its last seven games.

Greg Monroe (16 points, 11 rebounds) and Andre Drummond (13, 11) each registered a double-double for the Pistons.

Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points but committed seven turnovers for the Knicks, who dropped a third straight and fell to 3-7 on the season.

J.R. Smith came off the bench to net 18 points.
