NHL: Nashville 7, Chicago 2

NASHVILLE, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Craig Smith keyed a Nashville blitz with a goal and two assists Saturday and the Predators broke a four-game skid with a 7-2 pasting of Chicago.

Patric Hornqvist, Matt Cullen and Shea Weber each supplied a goal and an assist for the Predators, who notched a season high in goals.

Marek Mazanec made 39 saves to earn the win.

Nikolai Khabibulin started in net for the Blackhawks but lasted only 15 minutes before being pulled. He yielded two goals on eight shots.

Corey Crawford relieved and stopped 17-of-22 shots the rest of the way.

Patrick Kane and Brandon Pirri scored for Chicago.
