NBA: San Antonio 92, Washington 79

SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Tony Parker led a balanced attack Wednesday and San Antonio put on the defensive clamps to defeat Washington 92-79.

The Spurs won their sixth in a row and improved the NBA's best record to 8-1. San Antonio's only loss this season came at Portland on Nov. 2.

Parker made 7-of-9 shots from the field and scored 16 points. Boris Diaw had 15 off the bench and Kawhi Leonard scored 13.

San Antonio shot 50 percent from the field despite Tim Duncan making only 1-of-12.

Martell Webster led Washington with 21 points and 10 rebounds. The Wizards were held to 36 percent shooting while losing their third in a row. They went to the foul line only 11 times, making eight.
