NHL: New Jersey 3, New York Rangers 2

NEW YORK, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- New Jersey's Dainius Zubrus scored with 2:55 left in regulation Tuesday, providing the difference in the Devils' 3-2 victory over the New York Rangers.

The score was tied 2-2 when Zubrus and Travis Zajac skated into the Rangers' zone on a 2-on-1 break. Zajac fired a shot that bounced off defenseman Dan Girardi.

The rebound ricocheted off the skate of New York's Ryan McDonagh right to Zubrus, who put it home for the decisive goal.

Ryan Carter added two goals as the Devils notched a third win in four games.

Martin Brodeur made 33 saves.

Girardi and Marc Staal each scored for New York but it wasn't enough to prevent the end of the Rangers' three-game win streak.

Chris Kreider had two assists and Henrik Lundqvist made 25 saves.
