NHL: Columbus 5, New York Islanders 2

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Ryan Johansen and Brandon Dubinsky each supplied a goal and two assists Saturday and the Columbus Blue Jackets logged a 5-2 win over the New York Islanders.

The Blue Jackets broke the game open with third-period goals from R.J. Umberger, Cam Atkinson and James Wisniewski en route to snapping a five-game losing streak.

Wisniewski also notched an assist for the Jackets, who ended their longest victory drought since December 2011.

Sergei Bobrovsky earned the win with 24 saves.

Thomas Hickey and Frans Nielsen scored for the Islanders, who lost a third straight.

Evgeni Nabokov made 24 saves for New York.
