NBA: Atlanta 105, Sacramento 100

SACRAMENTO, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Al Horford scored 27 points Tuesday and the Atlanta Hawks held off the Sacramento Kings in the fourth quarter to notch a 105-100 victory.

Atlanta nearly blew a 19-point lead but held on with the help of the 10 points Horford scored in the period.

"It got a little closer than we would have liked, but that's the NBA," said Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer.

Pail Milsap added 25 points and 11 rebounds for the Hawks, who snapped a six-game losing streak on the road dating back to last season. Jeff Teague added 18 points and 10 assists.

Isaiah Thomas led the Kings with 26 points, including a dizzying 18 in the fourth quarter when the Kings outscored Atlanta 35-23. Marcus Thornton and Ben McLemore added 15 points apiece in the loss.
