NHL: Detroit 5, Edmonton 0

EDMONTON, Alberta, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Detroit's Petr Mrazek notched his first career shutout in just his third NHL game Saturday and the Red Wings rolled over Edmonton 5-0.

Mrazek needed to make only 14 stops as the Red Wings breezed to their 14th straight game without a regulation loss against Edmonton, going 12-0-2 over the span stretching back to 2006.

Tomas Tatar, Jakub Kindl, Darren Helm, Joakim Andersson and Todd Bertuzzi each scored for Detroit, which won a third straight on the road.

Oilers goalie Richard Bachman yielded two goals on nine shots before leaving in the first period with an injured groin.

Jason LaBarbera came in and stopped 19-of-22 shots the rest of the way as struggling Edmonton dropped a fifth straight.
