NHL: Colorado 3, Winnipeg 2

DENVER, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Peter Stastny set up the tying goal in the third period and then supplied the go-ahead tally Sunday, rallying the Colorado Avalanche over Winnipeg 3-2.

The Avalanche trailed 2-1 after two periods but collected the equalizer 7:13 into the final period when Stastny's centering pass was deflected into the high slot and Jan Hejda blasted it past Jets goalie Al Montoya.

Blake Wheeler and Bryan Little each had a goal and assist for the Jets, who lost for the fourth time in five games.

Montoya finished with 33 saves.
