DALLAS, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Andrew Ladd got the only goal of a shootout Saturday and the Winnipeg Jets broke a three-game skid with a 2-1 decision over Dallas.
After Jets goalie Ondrej Pavelec began the second round of the tiebreaker with a save on Alex Chaisson, Ladd beat Kari Lehtonen with a shot to the glove side. Ray Whitney then missed wide on the Stars' last try, sealing Winnipeg's victory.
Evander Kane got the Jets' only regulation goal and Pavelec stopped 35-of-36 shots in the win.
Stephane Robidas scored and Lehtonen finished with 37 saves for Dallas, which was coming off a Thursday win over Calgary.
