ROME, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- An Italian distance runner faces a 30-month ban for allegedly using a fake penis filled with uncontaminated urine during a doping test, prosecutors said.
Devis Licciardi, 27, allegedly used the fake penis, containing clean urine untainted by banned substances, during a standard test after a 10-kilometer (6.2 mile) race in Molfetta, Italy, earlier this year, the Italian news agency ANSA reported Monday.
