MLB: Colorado 2, Los Angeles Dodgers 1

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Troy Tulowitzki and Charlie Blackmon each had an RBI Sunday and Colorado survived a late scare to notch a season-ending 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Jeff Francis (3-5) posted the victory, holding the National League West champion Dodgers to one run on three hits and two walks in five innings.

Closer Rex Brothers allowed Los Angeles to load the bases in the bottom of the ninth before fanning Skip Schumaker to end the game with his 19th save.

The contest marked the final appearance of retiring Rockies stalwart Todd Helton, who went 1-for-4 with a walk to wrap up his 17-year career.

Hyun-Jin Ryu (14-8) was tagged with the loss for the Dodgers, who will travel to Atlanta Thursday to begin the National League Division Series.

Los Angeles finished the season with four losses in five games.
