CLEVELAND, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Corey Kluber went 5 1/3 innings to get the win Sunday and the playoff-contending Cleveland Indians completed a four-game sweep of Houston with a 9-2 victory.
Kluber (10-5) yielded two runs on six hits while striking out six for the Indians, who reeled off their sixth four-game sweep of the season, becoming the first team since the 1961 New York Yankees to pull off the feat.
Carlos Santana homered and knocked in two runs while Michael Brantley, Mike Aviles and Michael Bourn each added two RBI as Cleveland stayed 1/2-game behind Tampa Bay for the first wild card spot in the American League.
Astros starter Erik Bedard (4-12) allowed six runs on eight hits while striking out eight over five full innings.
Chris Carter homered for Houston, which dropped a ninth straight overall.
