DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Lucie Safarova and Bojana Jovanovski posted WTA tournament wins last week that pushed them up the women's world tennis rankings.

Safarova picked up her fifth WTA title by winning the Challenge Bell event in Quebec. She lost just one set over her five matches in claiming her first championship since August 2008.

That lifts her to No. 36 in the rankings, an improvement of 12 places. She reached as high as 17th in August 2012.

Jovanovski moved up 17 spots to 41st after her second career WTA title. She beat Olga Govortsova in three sets Saturday in winning the Tashkent Open in Uzbekistan. Her career-high ranking was 37th earlier this summer.

There were no changes in the WTA Top 10 this week. Serena Williams is No. 1 for a 31st consecutive week and 154 weeks overall.

Fourth-ranked Agnieszka Radwanska is the only player in the top tier entered into a tournament this week. She is the No. 1 seed at the KDB Korea Open. No. 8-ranked Caroline Wozniacki won the event in 2012 but isn't in the field this year. No. 22 Sorana Cirstea is the top seed at the Guangzhou Open in China.
