NFL: San Diego 33, Philadelphia 30

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Nick Novak connected on a go-ahead 46-yard field goal with 7 seconds left Sunday, hoisting the San Diego Chargers to a see-saw 33-30 win over Philadelphia.

Phillip Rivers set up the winning boot by going 4-for-5 through the air on a last-ditch, 48-yard drive. He finished with 419 passing yards on 36-of-47 efficiency.

The Chargers' drive began after the Eagles' Alex Henery had kicked a game-tying field goal.

Eddie Royal made three scoring grabs among his seven receptions for 90 yards while Antonio Gates and Malcolm Floyd combined for 13 catches for 226 yards in the victory.

Michael Vick made good on 24-of-36 pass attempts for 428 yards, two TDs and no interceptions while also adding a 2-yard scoring run for the Eagles (1-1).

DeSean Jackson hauled down nine passes for 193 yards in the loss.
