QUEBEC, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Third-seeded Czech Lucie Safarova earneed her fifth career title Sunday, dispatching Marina Erakovic in the final of the Bell Challenge.
Safarova held serve eight times in her 6-4, 6-3 victory over the sixth-seeded Erakovic of New Zealand, competing the win in 1 hour, 29 minutes.

It was the left-handed Czech's first win in five years.
Erakovic, appearing in her second Quebec final in three years, fell to 1-3 in career in WTA finals.
