DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Sept. 9 (UPI) -- No. 1-ranked Inbee Park looks for a fourth women's golf major title this week as the LPGA Tour heads to the Evian Championship in France.

This is the first year the LPGA has designated five events as major tournaments. Park won the first three -- the Kraft Nabisco Championship, the LPGA Championship and the U.S. Women's Open -- but ended up tied for 42nd at the Ricoh Women's British Open. No. 2-ranked Stacy Lewis won that tournament.

Park is the defending Evian champion, although when she won the tournament in July 2012, it wasn't yet considered a major.

Park has been ranked No. 1 for the last 22 weeks, which is the fourth-longest consecutive string atop the rankings. The 22-week total is fifth most, three weeks behind Jiyai Shin.

The Nos. 7-10 players are closely bunched and an adjustment of points from previous tournaments allowed Catriona Matthew to move up two places this week even though the LPGA didn't have a tournament.

Matthew goes from ninth to seventh, forcing Lydia Ko to eighth and Feng Shanshan to ninth. However, Matthew's ranking points average of 5.77 is just 0.19 ahead of 10th-ranked I.K. Kim.
