MLB: Toronto 11, Minnesota 2

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Toronto's Adam Lind cracked a pair of three-run homers Saturday and the Blue Jays rapped out 15 hits in their 11-2 pasting of Minnesota.

Lind's first blast came during a five-run first inning and he capped the scoring with another three-run clout in the ninth as the Blue Jays clinched their three-game series.

Brett Lawrie also homered and Munenori Kawasaki added two RBI in the lop-sided victory.

J.A. Happ (4-5) went 5 2/3 innings to notch the win, allowing just one unearned run on five hits. He walked three and struck out four.

Twins starter Kevin Correia (9-11) was knocked around for five runs on seven hits in a six-inning effort.

Oswaldo Arcia and Josmil Pinto each drove in a run for Minnesota.
