MLS: San Jose 2, FC Dallas 2 (tie)

FRISCO, Texas, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Michel converted a penalty kick in the 72nd minute Saturday, completing a comeback that earned FC Dallas a 2-2 draw with San Jose.

With his team trailing 2-0 early in the game, Blas Perez put FCD (9-7-10) on the comeback trail in the 19th minute, collecting a header from Je-Vaughn Watson and rolling it past Earthquakes goalkeeper Jon Busch.

Dallas finally got the equalizer in the 72nd on a left-footed penalty kick from Brazilian midfielder Michel.

Alan Gordon and Steven Beitashour scored within the first 16 minutes to give San Jose (9-10-7) the early lead.
