SEATTLE, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Jered Weaver, supported by a 14-hit attack, dominated Seattle on one run over eight innings Sunday and the Los Angeles beat Seattle 7-1.
Weaver (8-7) allowed only three hits, didn't issue a walk and fanned eight while tossing 68-of-102 pitches for strikes.

Kole Calhoun bashed a two-run homer, Chris Nelson added a two-run triple and Mark Trumbo went 2-for-5 with an RBI for the Angels, who completed a three-game sweep.
Seattle's Aaron Harang (5-11) was roughed up for seven runs on nine hits over 5 2/3 innings.
Dustin Ackley went 2-for-3 with a homer for the Mariners.
