WASHINGTON, Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Bobby Convey scored in the 60th minute Saturday, boosting Toronto FC into a 1-1 draw with D.C. United.

TFC (4-12-9) scored the equalizer when Convey corralled an accurate cross from winger Reggie Lambe in the box and then booted it home for his first goal of the season.

United (3-17-5) got its score in the 10th minute on a spectacular tally from Dwayne De Rosario, who made a pair of fakes -- including one on Toronto midfielder Jonathan Osorio -- and launched a right-footed volley that beat goalkeeper Joe Bendik.

Each team saw a three-game winless streak extended with the tie.
