EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Khalil Bell ran for two third-quarter touchdowns Saturday, carrying the New York Jets to a 37-13 pre-season pounding of Jacksonville.
Starting quarterback Mark Sanchez led the Jets on five scoring drives as New York outpaced the Jaguars 27-0 in the second half.

Sanchez went 13-for-23 through the air for 169 yards, including a 23-yard touchdown pass to Jeff Cumberland. Bilal Powell ran for 68 yards on seven carries for the Jets.
Blaine Gabbert completed 13-of-16 throws for 165 yards and a touchdown for Jacksonville, but sprained his right thumb in the second quarter.
Justin Blackmon led the Jaguars' receiving corps with four catches for 46 yards.
