MLB: Baltimore 5, San Francisco 2 (10 inn.)

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Chris Davis broke a 10th-inning tie with a two-run double Friday that led to Baltimore's 5-2 victory over San Francisco.

The Orioles blew a one-run lead in the ninth, but quickly made up for that on the way to their third straight win.

Manny Machado doubled with one out in the 10th against Javier Lopez (1-2) and Adam Jones was walked intentionally with two away.

That brought up Davis, who drove in both runners with a double to deep center. Davis then scored on a single by Matt Wieters. Davis ran his RBI total for the year to 108, which leads the majors by 17.

The win went to Baltimore closer Jim Johnson (3-7) even though he failed to earn a save for the seventh time in 46 chances this year. Johnson blew the save when Hunter Pence singled home Brandon Belt with the tying run in the ninth.

After Baltimore regained the lead in the 10th, Tommy Hunter worked a perfect bottom half of the inning for his third save.
