WASHINGTON, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Conor Doyle scored his first MLS goal in the 68th minute Saturday, putting D.C. United on course for a 3-1 victory over Montreal.
With the score tied 1-1, Doyle took an accurate cross from defender James Riley and put it past Montreal goalkeeper Troy Perkins for the game-winning tally.

Luis Silva scored in the first half and Jared Jeffrey added a stoppage-time marker as United (3-15-4) notched only their third victory of the season.
Jeb Brovsky scored in the 52nd minute for the Impact (10-6-5), who dropped into third place in the Eastern Conference.
