VIRGINIA WATER, England, July 29 (UPI) -- Justin Rose edges past Adam Scott for the No. 4 spot in the men's world golf rankings following Monday's update of the standings.

Rose is just 0.01 of a point in average ahead of Scott, who is now fifth.

That was the only change this week in the Top 10 even though No. 7-ranked Brandt Snedeker won the Canadian Open. He keeps that spot but narrows the rankings point average between himself and No. 6 Matt Kuchar.

Hunter Mahan was leading the Canadian Open when he received word that his wife had gone into labor and withdrew from the tournament. It didn't affect his ranking -- he remains No. 22 this week.

On Sunday, Mahan announced the arrival of his daughter, Zoe Olivia.

Michael Hoey won the M2M Russian Open on the European Tour and he rockets form 303rd to No. 175 in the rankings. It was his first tournament title in 16 months.

Tiger Woods, firmly in the No. 1 spot, has topped the rankings for the last 19 weeks and a record 642 weeks overall.
