MLS: New England 2, D.C. United 1

WASHINGTON, July 27 (UPI) -- Dimitry Imbongo and Diego Fagundez rallied New England with second-half goals Saturday, sending the Revolution past D.C. United 2-1.

The Revs found themselves down 1-0 until the 54th minute, when Imbongo received a cross from Chris Tierney, beat a defender and unleashed a volley past United goalkeeper Joe Willis for the equalizer.


New England (8-7-6) went ahead in the 63rd minute as Fagundez put home the rebound of Saer Sene's shot off the crossbar for his seventh tally of the season, giving the Revs a second straight win.

Luis Silva scored for United (3-14-4), which fell for the fourth time in five games.
