Swede Rikard Karlberg shoots 68 to take lead at Russian Open

MOSCOW, July 26 (UPI) -- Sweden's Rikard Karlberg used a strong back nine to card a 4-under-par 68 Friday that put him in the lead by two strokes at the Russian Open.

Karlberg made four birdies on the final nine holes to get to 9-under 135 after two rounds.

Karlberg was slowed by a bogey on the par-4 18th hole at the Tseleevo Golf and Polo Club but finished two shots ahead of Michael Hoey (67), Matthew Baldwin (69) and Wen-chong Liang (70).
