Each finished with three RBI, as did Mark Ellis, while Jerry Hairston Jr. added a bases-empty blast for the surging Dodgers, who stayed hot with a fifth straight win and 11th in 13 games.

They entered the contest with a half-game lead over Arizona in the National League West.

Brandon League (4-3) earned the decision but Kenley Jackson struggled in the ninth en route to his 12th save, yielding a run-scoring single to J.P. Arencibia (3-for-5) before Brett Lawrie sent a pitch to the centerfield fence, where it was hauled in for the final out.
